Toni is a seasoned veteran in the land development, property management and hospitality industries
and has a wide variety of leadership experience. She has worked in all facets of the restaurant industry
and has a wealth of knowledge and successful experience in hotel and resort management, multi-family property management and home construction.
With a bachelor degree from Michigan State University combined with continuing education throughout her career, she has attained an in depth knowledge and skill set ideal to manage, train and excel in business. As a restaurant and hotel professional, she has managed The 7 Springs Inn & Suites and served as project Manager of the complete hotel renovations in preparation of it’s successful sale. She has been the F&B Director at Hotel Zoso in Palm Springs and The Nautical Beachfront Hotels in Lake Havasu, AZ.
Toni was the opening general manager for two of the most successful restaurants in the Palm Springs area; Spencer’s Restaurant and La Brasserie Bistro & Bar, both of which continue to thrive and reflect her influence. She saved the iconic City Club of Lansing in Michigan by implementing a new branding and marketing strategy plus the introduction of the first riverfront patio in the city. These efforts made it possible to merge with the University Club at MSU ensuring it’s longevity.
Upon first arriving in Palm Springs, she managed St. James, one of the most successful fine dining restaurants featuring world cuisine and a reknowned boutique wine selection (now Sammy G’s).
The music program she implemented continues to this day. She taught event planning at The University
of California Riverside until the program was terminated due to the covid lockdown.
Toni’s property management and construction background includes managing multi-family apartment communities in Michigan and California and the successful construction of over 50 single family homes in the greater Palm Springs area. She also served as project manager for the renovation of hotels and apartment communities. As a planning commissioner and co-author of the general plan for the city of Palm Springs, she is well versed in the requirements, zoning and laws in which to secure and operate successful businesses. Toni has lived in the region for 23 years and is intimately aware of the market and seasonal flow that requires constant analysis and adjustments.
With a passion for service and creating memorable experiences, Toni has had the pleasure of planning, organizing and producing and co-producing special events. Some examples include;
Palm Springs Food & Wine Festival, Co-Producer; HALLOWEEN Palm Springs on Arenas,
Palm Springs Annual Health Run, Club Meridian Summer Concert Series, Producer; Old Town Lansing Art & Octoberfest, Board Member; City Club of Lansing production of La Cage a Faux, Producer; Elise Richmond Show “Rally America” events, Producer; Ronald McDonald House “Clubs with Hearts” Progressive Dinner, Producer; Relics and Rods Annual Car Show, Lake Havasu AZ, Event Manager; plus she has served as Planner/Producer of numerous art exhibits, theme parties, weddings, etc.
Toni has traveled extensively throughout Europe and the U.S giving her an insight to different cultures
and values. She brings this understanding and knowledge to all that she does. She is an enthusiastic and passionate professional with integrity and honor. She is loyal beyond reproach and can always be depended on to do the right thing.
Toni is the proud parent of a grown daughter and grandmother to 4 granddaughters.
Originally a native of Michigan where she was born and raised her family,
Toni calls the Coachella Valley home since moving there in 2000
